Algorithm Description

It averages the SODA native products at 333m to the resolution of the CALIOP 5km layers products, so called soda_averager

This application has been designed and developped by the Icare CGTD from a project request submitted by Damien Josset.

Known Issues

The current version of SODA 5km uses a simple Cloud/Aerosol discrimination which is a combination of optically dense features not being included in the shot to shot retrieval and filtering scenes using the CALIPSO 5km aerosol and clouds layer products. It may not be suited for all studies.
